Our teachers and staff are amazing and have been working especially hard during this crazy pandemic. These times are unprecedented, but they rose to the challenge of transitioning to online learning in 3 days! We are so fortunate to have such a dedicated and hardworking group of teachers.
Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week is May 4-8. As you can imagine, doing this virtually presents challenges but we do want to show our teachers and staff some love and how much we appreciate them. We are asking for donations so that we can provide teachers with a dinner for their family at one of our local restaurants providing carry-out (a win/win situation as our teachers receive some love and local restaurants will get a much welcome economic boost during this challenging time). A $50 donation will buy dinner for a family of four.
Telluride Education Foundation (TEF) will match 100 percent of what we raise up to $2000. The Telluride School District will also contribute. No contribution is too large or too small. Because we most likely will not have the chance to give end-of-year gifts to our teachers in person, this is our opportunity to show our gratitude for their hard work all year long.
